I graduated from Emporia State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and a Minor in Ethnic and Gender studies. Currently, I am a graduate student working toward a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. I have worked as a residential counselor for the past year with children struggling with aggressive behaviors. I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy. Together, we will decide upon the goals and directions we would like therapy to go. We will periodically check-in about these goals to assess our progress and determine the length of therapy. I work with my clients with a strength-based, solution-focused approach to therapy. Always approaching my work with a culturally sensitive perspective is important to me.
