Hi, I’m Amanda, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 15 years of experience helping people navigate the beautifully messy realities of relationships, connection, and personal growth. I specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals and couples who are navigating relationship challenges, intimacy concerns, attachment wounds, communication breakdowns, and the complexities of building secure, meaningful connections.
As a neurodivergent, sex-positive, radically honest therapist, I believe therapy should be healing, empowering, and sometimes even funny. Relationships can be complicated enough without feeling like you have to decode each other without a map. I work with couples, partners, and individuals from young adulthood through later life, helping them better understand themselves and each other through direct, compassionate, and practical support.
My approach is grounded in CBT, motivational interviewing, person-centered therapy, reality-based interventions, and attachment-focused work, while always adapting to what will actually work best for you. I have a particular passion for supporting neurodivergent couples, including partners navigating ADHD, autism, sensory differences, communication mismatches, intimacy challenges, emotional regulation concerns, and the often-overlooked impact these experiences can have on connection and trust.
I also work with couples exploring ethical non-monogamy, repairing relational ruptures, rebuilding intimacy, navigating parenting and partnership stress, and answering those “what are we even doing here?” relationship moments with honesty and curiosity rather than shame. My goal is to help partners feel more understood, more connected, and better equipped to build relationships that honor both authenticity and mutual care.
As a holistic therapist with an MS in CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine), I believe mental health doesn’t exist in isolation. Mind, body, and nervous system are deeply connected, and together we’ll explore how lifestyle, habits, stress patterns, and even physical health may be influencing emotional and relational wellbeing.
Outside the therapy room, I’m a wife, twin mom (yes, it was supposed to be one), karaoke enthusiast, amateur bass player, and devoted cuddler of cats and dogs.
Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or clinical. It can be deep, honest, collaborative, and even enjoyable. Whether you’re working through attachment concerns, intimacy struggles, neurodivergent relationship dynamics, or simply trying to reconnect with yourself or your partner, I’m here to help guide the process with warmth, humor, and radical honesty.
